Ok back to work

Ok, I got back from vacation late yesterday (stayed extra day since we spent Wednesday at the hospital), and now its back to work for me.

I was not expecting all this chaos when I returned, but I guess it cant be helped. I tried making the installer as simple as possible, unfortunately there seem to be some issues. Also noticed a lot of the "wheres the new client" threads, and am confused since there are three links for the installer.

Since there are so many pages of problems it makes it somewhat confusing trying to answer each one, while making sure I do not repeat myself. Please post any problem you have encountered while trying to play/download the new client. I will try to respond asap, but keep in mind I work from 7am-5pm and have limited computer access during that time. Instructions
1 - Download
2 - Find the Installer (Fgunz.msi) and run it
3 - Leave everything default and advance through each screen
4 - After its done it should install 2 desktop icons.
5 - Click the Dex icon (a box should appear)
6 - Click on "Update"
7 - Minimize it (Do not close)
8 - Click on the Fgunz Launcher and let it update
9 - Press "Start Game" and let it load

Note - If the icons were not put on the desktop then go to "Start - Program Files - Freestylerscrew" - and click on Dex (then follow steps 5-7). Then "Start - Program Files - Freestylerscrew" - Click on FGunz Launcher and "Start Game"


There are some problems that I found while testing the client yesterday.
1. Medkits - I thought that they were already included. This is my fault for not checking.
2. Weapons - The weapons as the very bottom of the shop (the newest kgunz items) do not show up ingame. I noticed this last night while testing the client. I merely put the wrong model.mrs in the installer, but they will be updated through the launcher.
3. Maps - There are some maps that were not added in the client, yet they are listed in the map list. This results in a "cannot create game" message. They will be added with the weapons update.


Note - I begin college this Wednesday and my computer time will be extremely limited.

I'm a little confused, is the newiest client? Cause I downloaded the one on the 11th and that was titled fgunz.msi aswell. Also when I clicked on my launcher there wasn't an update...

Leaf you have the correct client, I was merely saying if there is an update let it update then click "Start Game"

the laucher adds the DeX Anti Cheat installer

in FgunZ/Install

run DeXAnti Cheat installer

go to

Server list

add config.dex from ur GunZ Folder

ten minimize then start gunz laucher

-please remove the blood effect
-you've removed clothes and weapons of the old client like the swat jacket or the carpediam school set, please add them
-please change the dash
-you've forgot to add some clothes
-there are some people who dislike the new massive effect (because it's to big) but other people who like it, maybe a poll could decide that
-could you change the training sword (katana) model to this one:

sorry for double-post but you can't edit your posts,
-when someone joins a room you are in and you get his NAT-connection, it will make you lagg (screen freezes, you are unable to move,shoot or do anything) for several seconds (about 5-10)

-Started a poll on the blood effect
-Those items are still there I just didnt add them to the shop. Just like the meds I thought that they were already added.
-Whats wrong with the dash?
-which clothes, be more specific please.
-I can understand the massive effect, just making the game more unique than other servers.
-I believe the cone and the bamboo katana fits the training weapon best.
-I have not had this freeze problem can you explain a little more in detail as to what happens? Or is that all that happens.
