Everyone will have to wait for Forsaken to come back from his Holiday before any repairing can be done to the new client. You can't play it, accept that fact. No matter how much you moan it won't work so just be patient and wait for him. As for me i'll be in Cyprus for two weeks so by the time I get back it should be fixed.

I think you guys should just play on the old client till Forsaken comes back... just a thought cuz the new client wont work anyways but the old client is working.

ok, guys,
i had the same error (file missing) so i downloaded the dex-anti-cheat from the official website, started it and IT WORKS =D
i've selected fgunz as "server to protect" and started the fgunz launcher, it updated everything but won't start gunz (after completing the update).
i was like...huh?
so i've tryed running the old fgunz with dexlauncher still open and active, what do you think happened?
it didn't start! -.-"
so i've closed the dex anti-hack and started the old gunz again, it worked.
so, it seems like the dexlauncher (anti-hack) "blocks" gunz to start at all.
ima go try to fix that..

i've just noticed, the new gunz doesn't even starts when you turn the dex-launcher off...
the old gunz does, but the new one doesn't.

So what does this mean? We use the old client? Too much confusion but I'll try to help you any way I can.

Heres my thought:

Use the old gunz cause the new one wont work till someone with the power like Forsaken or Ukrainer can make the new client work.

the dex anti-hack, works with the old gunz (after playing around a bit i've got it working with the old gunz)
the new gunz does NEVER start, with or without launcher, with or without dex-launcher, the new fgunz does NEVER start.

=something is wrong with the new gunz, something with theduel.exe in the new gunz.

hey McSic I can play the old gunz without the dex anti hack and I used theduel.exe to run gunz...My theory is the new gunz will not work yet so yeah I think the dex anti-hack will work with the new gunz but just not now...

Have u tried using the dex anti-hack with theduel.exe? (After updating with the new launcher)

after
switching the default.mrs with the old one, it works perfectly fine,
well, until it got to load the gameinterface, because it needs the new
default.mrs for that, but it won't even start with the new default.mrs,
weird huh...yeah.
the best part about that is, that fgunz uses encrypted mrs's, means i can't open and check what's wrong with them.

codes or even send me the default.mrs per msn, thanks.

hmm well... The Wait Ends 8/17/08 lol soo new guns cant possibly work... why not get a program that checks for hacks every minute. thats what they did in socom , see it disconnects u if u hack. it would be a good idea or instead could make it log hackers that would involve less coding.
