Take all the important files that you dont want to lose, scan all of them to make sure they have no infections. Then back them up to a portable device, web server, etc. Reformat computer (I have XP so Im not sure how to do it for vista) Just google a tutorial or search Microsofts website and print it or write it down.

If you have the money get Norton its perfect. From limewire they spot a virus on a file before it gets to 1%. It catches it immediately.

yes and norton sucks my ballz i payed £50 for it at pc world and its crap, limewire maybe but serious threats like trojans it cant find shit >.< avg is gd for normal and common viruses drfreeweb for anything serious use it XD

Norton is one of the best out there and with all the data people have on their computer, hell, I would pay all needed to protect my files.

You probably don't have the new one Norton 360 that gets all trojans spyware viruses and stuff.

Well thats a awkward question, some people don't like to become a juvenile. Believe it or not pirating things is illegal :O! Also most free things don't seem to work near as well as things that cost. Either that or its all together false and has a virus to it.

I mean if your thinking by that logic, why pay for gas? When you could just put it in and drive away.

Starting to get offtopic now, but of course pirating is illegal thats common sense lol. The quality of the cracked program all depends on where you get it from, and the skill of the person who cracked it. Of course it could be a false download, but it depends on where you get it from. I wouldnt really compare pirating software to stealing gas, considering you can completely hide your identity on the computer, when thats not easily done in life.

first scan you computer and do the crap it wnats from you (took me about 5 hours to scan) then f youre done, delete the viruses etc, restart your computer in safe-mode and scan it again.

ok i think i i think i can help

GO to where the virus is.

its ususaly in C:\Windows\System32

or some wher else

download AVG 8.0

let it update

let it scan ur whole comp

EMPTY ur virus vault

once its emptied the virus is deleted

u can get AVG free at

http://free.avg.com

and install and run

trust me AVG helped my laptop from 3 viruses
they wer all Trojan Horses

(from watching massive P***) XD

thats the reason u dont download crap off the internet.. well i have a idea .. but its prolly not gona be used, just reformat (redo ur computer) dont get vista, vista sucks cuz the security alerts, and go to walmart or some thing and buy a cheap anti virus for like 20 dollars, thats shud do good enough or.. u can use AVG which is kinda crap, but its okay.. i guess (security problems) and yeh just download what u need.. the benifits are that u get more memory cuz well u cleaned ur computer and u can make the choice if u wana install crap ull never use or install a few things u use daily .. ur choice just make sure u dont mess ur computer up any more that u have.. and well if ur computers completly bugged.. then the only hope for u every playing computer agian is buying a new hardrive.. well ya

1) avg isnt crap its really good

it can be crap when u kno somethin doenst have a virus like DeX (no offence)

2 ) Vista isnt Crap at all Home Premium is good if u kno how to use VISTA then its not crap the only thing is to Turn off UAC and thats about it Vista isnt crap so i dont think u kno wat ur talking about ( no offence)

3 ) Alis can just do a Simple Restore by putting in the Restore Disk

I'd suggest if you can target any important data that is unafflicted, move it into a portable drive before reformatting, and after you can reapply them to your re-established machine. However, the way you described it, I doubt you have any place that's virus free on your C drive...

o hai alis, just format, wasting time lulz, I've had 100x Viruses the way you described I once programmed a virus, To delete hal.dll, so pc wont load, but i then disabled safemode, and then made the boot key unstartable, so I was unable to enter bios, so I just bought a new motherboard LOLS and hard drive luls.
